20-Year Ground Warranty
We provide a robust ground warranty to protect your valuable assets.
In the event of differential settlement (when a building tilts due to ground distortion), the costs required for restoration are covered for 20 years from the date of handover, with compensation of up to ¥50,000,000 per incident.
We provide reliable coverage even for potential future issues hidden beneath the ground.
Ground Warranty with Liquefaction Coverage
Our ground warranty also covers damage caused by soil liquefaction.
Liquefaction is a phenomenon in which underground sand layers containing large amounts of water lose strength and behave like a liquid due to strong seismic shaking.
During the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, liquefaction caused damage across 96 municipalities in one metropolitan area and six prefectures, becoming one of the largest cases ever recorded worldwide.
It was also reported during the 2016 Kumamoto Earthquake, the 2018 Hokkaido Eastern Iburi Earthquake, and the 2019 Yamagata Offshore Earthquake, making it a familiar and ongoing concern associated with earthquakes.
In response to these realities, KAⅡ Design & Work proactively provides warranty coverage against liquefaction-related damage.
Ground Surveys Are Required by Law
A ground survey is always conducted for each site.
In addition to survey data, we comprehensively analyze site conditions, surrounding environments, and geological factors.
If the analysis indicates risks such as soft ground or potential differential settlement, appropriate reinforcement or ground improvement work is carried out.
10-Year Building Warranty (Housing Defect Liability Insurance)
If, within 10 years after handover, defects are discovered that fail to meet required structural strength or waterproof performance in key structural components, repair costs will be covered by insurance.
This warranty provides peace of mind in the event of unforeseen issues.
Termite Damage Warranty (Joto Kiso Packing System)
Because we adopt the Joto Kiso Packing construction method, if termite damage occurs within 10 years after completion, liability compensation is guaranteed up to a cumulative limit of ¥10,000,000.
